FEES AND MATERIALS

We always begin with a FREE CONSULTATION in your home to discuss goals and objectives for the student. This will give each of us an opportunity to get to know one another and a chance to determine the student's level of musical knowledge.

After an enrollment fee of $150.00, which includes your first months tuition, lesson book and a metronome, the current rate for lessons is $20.00 per half hour. (NOTE: For additional sibling students at the same location, there will be a discount.) You will be required to purchases at least one new subsequent book of study as the student progresses. This is in addition to tuition. The cost of all teaching materials (music, books, etc.) is to be paid directly to the music instructor. Please pay for these items promptly.

Please communicate with your instructor as much in advance as possible regarding the lesson dates that will be missed. As a rule, lessons will be cancelled for days when the school in your township is closed for school holidays or closings.

SUMMER SEMESTER
Students are encouraged to continue their instruction throughout the summer. If a student chooses not to take lessons during the summer
or cancels excessively, there will be no guarantee of a fall lesson time. Please consult with your instructor regarding your summer schedule.

PERFORMANCES (OPTIONAL)
Students are encouraged to take advantage of performing opportunities that are offered by the school for which the teacher, student, and parents feel the student is prepared. Occasionally there will be a fee for such performances for which you will be responsible. It will be the responsibility of Soundboard Music Studios to let you know in advance of such fees in order for you to be able to make an informed choice to participate or not.

TERMINATION OF LESSONS
We hope that every student will benefit from their study of music, and that any problems that occur will be discussed with their instructor as they arise. If a student decides to discontinue instruction in the middle of the month, the student is responsible for the payment of tuition for the entire month, after which the billing will stop. There are no refunds of tuition payments. Please notify your instructor of your intent to discontinue the lessons as soon as possible.

OVERDUE TUITION
Payment of the entire monthly installment is due at the first lesson of the month. There will be a late fee of $5 added to the next tuition installment for payments that are not received by the 20th of the month. Lessons will be stopped if full payment, including the late fee, has not been received by the last day of the month. If an account has to be turned over to a collection agency, the individual will be responsible for any additional fees that accumulate as a result.
